Common Sense Indicator
Visual Inspection
- Purpose: Think clearly unfiltered by noise, bias, and indicators.
- Description:
- Observe price action
- Look for obvious areas where reversals occurred
- Draw a few horizontal lines and trade the range
- Keep it simple
- Feel the pulse of the market in several time frames as you change from 1 minute charts through 60 minutes, etc
- Try using a few volume bars
- NinjaTrader Use:
- Displayed as a simple chart with no indicators
- Add a few if something jives in our intuition
- Practical Example:
- On an ES chart observe a few levels of support and resistance.
- Draw a few parallel lines.
- Note gaps if using an RTH chart
- Make a few notes
