“A sequence of random events isn’t really random at all.
It’s just made to look that way so it will ensnare the unwary.”
― Anthony T. Hincks
“Nancy Drew,
rhythmically with abandon.”
In the beginning, there was noise.
Noise begat rhythm,
and rhythm begat everything else.

Reading and Righting
My wife reads to one of our grand daughters a few nights a week.
She reads from her own childhood books, and currently Nancy Drew is the book of interest.
What a great experience for the two of them.
Facetime and technology have allowed us to merge the old and the new.
Everything in Life Serves Me
“My Belief is that everything in Life serves me.
I try and connect the dots and find how seemingly unrelated events
really do intertwine and add value and meaning to my world.”

“Let it Come to You”
-Wall Street proverb
“I’ll be ready.”
You’re going to enjoy field jumping Chuck predicted.
And it’s a positive must if you intend to be a really good skier.
One never knows when he’ll come to a fallen tree or some other unexpected object.”
When that happens, the skier must be able to jump or risk a bad smashup.
Now there’s a slope with a sizable hammock at its foot. Suppose we climb up there and have a go at it?
Just tell me what to do Nancy urged.
The first thing to remember is that when you hit a hump it will lift you into the air.
Your job is to crouch down before you hit the obstacle.
To spring upward and sort of synchronize your spring with the natural lift the bump gives you
Is that clear Nancy?
I think so.

The Mystery at the Ski Jump
Translated into more than seventeen languages, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain is the world’s most widely used instructional drawing book. Whether you are drawing as a professional artist, as an artist in training, or as a hobby, this book will give you greater confidence in your ability and deepen your artistic perception, as well as foster a new appreciation of the world around you. This revised/updated fourth edition includes:
• a new introduction;
• crucial updates based on recent research on the brain’s plasticity and the enormous value of learning new skills/ utilizing the right hemisphere of the brain;
• new focus on how the ability to draw on the strengths of the right hemisphere can serve as an antidote to the increasing left-brain emphasis in American life-the worship of all that is linear, analytic, digital, etc.;
• an informative section that addresses recent research linking early childhood “scribbling” to later language development and the importance of parental encouragement of this activity;
• and new reproductions of master drawings throughout
